| Living Fountains is the teaching ministry of Pastor Jim Stewart, senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Kansas City in Overland Park, Kansas. Pastor Jim has served in ministry for the last 20 years. His journey began in West Covina California under the leadership of Pastor Raul Ries. Since 1989, he has been involved in planting churches in the midwest and other parts of the world. While reading through John's Gospel and the Book of Revelation, the Lord ministered to his heart how so many people today are busy trying to prolong their life here on earth, just as years ago many sought for the fountain of youth. The way to everlasting life can seem complicated and the path may be very overgrown. Pastor Jim's approach is simplistic and direct, cutting through to the heart of the matter, by pointing us to Jesus Christ, the Living Fountain. This is where we find truth, total fulfillment, and everlasting life (John 4:14 & Rev 22:17). Since 2001, he has been in Kansas City, the City of Fountains, building up the faith of those who attend Calvary Chapel Kansas City and reaching out through Living Fountains to a thirsty land in desperate need of God's love and grace. |
