Jesus holds children very close to His heart and we at Calvary Chapel Kansas City do so as well. Our highest calling is to partner with parents and teach God’s Word so that all children can come to the saving knowledge of Christ and deepen their personal relationship with Him. Calvary Kids offers ministry to children infants through 5th grade.
Our classes are organized into age-appropriate environments (nursery, preschool, K-2nd and 3rd-5th) to help nurture your child’s spiritual growth. Hebrews 4:12 tells us that God’s Word is powerful and alive, and we believe that. Our youngest children are taught simple but important lessons of Jesus’ love for them from God’s Word. For preschool through 5th grade, teachers utilize the Answers Bible Curriculum to present the gospel, beginning in Genesis, with the intention of training children to know, obey and defend God’s Word. In addition, the curriculum encourages believers to become conformed to the image of Christ. We teach with the end in mind and make sure each thing we do points to the main thing: Jesus and God’s Word. It is our hope and prayer that the children will be instilled with a lifelong trust through this curriculum in the Bible and in the God who authored it.
